This November, several states across the U.S. are providing direct payments and rebates to help residents deal with rising prices and economic challenges.
These payments do not come from the federal government, but from state programs designed to give money back to people through rebates or special income support initiatives.
Most people who qualify do not need to take any extra steps to receive these payments. As long as they meet certain income or tax filing requirements, the payments are usually sent automatically.
It’s important for eligible residents to know what kinds of payments are available and when they might arrive.
